A Portrait of Us: Day Away for Spring Vacay!

This entire Spring Break, Elspeth has been working like crazy on my website redo, Aslan supporting us both with mealmaking and dog tending. So, today we took a much-needed break, and escaped to Hood River.

I am so grateful for these kids, who believe in me, and work so hard, every day, to be the best versions of themselves they can be.

So grateful, too, for returned health - especially Elspeth’s, so much improved from when we drove this route for medical appointments. Health that is Good Enough is, also, actually, Glorious. When you know, you know.

We appreciated cooling drinks at Dog River Coffee Company (the espresso tonic, whoah!), a cozy ramen dinner at Mugen Noodle Hood River, and every friendly face we encountered, especially those waving signs for Palestine! 🍉
